The menu also includes lighter options for those looking for a snack between adventures, like savory pastries and refreshing salads.

The tagine here is a must-try. One of the most popular dishes, the lamb tagine, is cooked to perfection. The slow-cooked lamb is tender, seasoned with an array of spices that offer just the right balance of heat and sweetness. Paired with couscous or freshly baked bread, it's a dish that will transport you straight to the heart of Moroccan cuisine. If you prefer something a bit different, the chicken with preserved lemon and olives is another favorite. It’s zesty, fragrant, and incredibly satisfying.

What really sets Cafe_Snack_Restaurant_Hamid apart, though, is its ability to cater to all tastes. If you’re in the mood for something lighter, their array of fresh salads and sandwiches hit the spot. The hummus and baba ghanoush served with warm pita bread make for the perfect snack while you relax and take in the view of the desert landscape. And don’t forget to try the Moroccan mint tea - it’s a refreshing treat that’s often enjoyed after a meal to aid digestion and unwind.

The restaurant’s location makes it a perfect stop for travelers exploring the nearby dunes of Merzouga. Does not look like much from nor the outside, neither the inside, but the food was delicious! They have multiple veggie options in the menu and prices are really good. If your looking for a lunch spot close to Merzouga, this is the place to go.

We returned here for every meal during our stay in the desert – it was definitely the best food we ate during our entire stay in Morocco. The meals are freshly prepared, piping hot, perfectly seasoned, the portions are huge, and the prices are very reasonable. You can also order food the day before and take it away. We ate all the tacos on the menu, sandwiches, Korean chicken, omelette, and kofta tajine – everything was delicious. The owner is very kind and told us about life in the area. If you like spicy food, ask for extra chili; you won't be disappointed!

The food was absolutely delicious. If you enjoy cilantro and don’t mind spices, you’ll love it. They gave us bread for free, and since we enjoyed it so much, they even gave us a refill with a larger portion! The owner was incredibly kind, and we had a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for the great meal!

Not the average fast food Hamid’s food comes with a twist. Everything is different than what we tried anywhere else in Morocco. And it’s very good. The price is great for what you get! The staff is super nice and they even gave us metal forks and knives to take with us in the desert :)

Best food and price that I experienced in Morocco. The owner was so kind. He offered us some traditionals desserts too. The outside of this restaurant is not that fency but it doesn't matter for an excellent repas.

My hotel recommended this place around the corner. It's very good and the price is great. The portion was generous and the meal came with orange and cinnamon at the end but I was far too full to eat it.

Today by chance we have visited this restaurant to have our lunch. Their dishes are surprisingly delicious In particular, both the foods on their Tajine Pots and the glasses of the orange juice are the very masterpieces A le Chef, je vous remercie!!! Sukuran jazeelan!!!
